Our Mindmaps

For starters we were given a subject, "Help collaboration between countries to exchange medical data/practices.” We then started by informing ourselves about this topic. Everything we learned, we documented it in our mind maps. This first step has helped us focusing on the right elements, understand the challenges of the topic and finally explore the business' opportunities.

Project Draft

Once our mind maps all together, we discussed what we wanted to do with our subject. That is when we came up with the virtual health book application. We wanted an application that is available all around the globe and secured, so that our users would not be wary of it. An application that is for doctors as well as patients.
Therefore, if a patient happened to travel and forgot their medical records, when in need of it, it will be accessible in complete security, on their smartphone as long as there is an Internet connection. Patients will be able to access their medical records and important information, or documents.
In addition, doctors with a professional account, will also be able to access the patient’s information if they need to access their medical records to take care of the patient.
Our application will also help people find nearby doctors or hospitals, if they need assistance. By allowing our app to access their position, we will be able to direct them towards the closest facility, with GPS instructions to facilitate them.
Finally, we made sure on our search page that every information, articles are verified and legitimate. The information displayed come from studies made by professionals.

Wireframe

We then start the foundation of our application. Indeed, we started designing our wireframe which is a simple black and white template that focuses only on the structural elements. We have focused on our main feature which is to provide an online medical service for people that travel around the world. Then, we add more features such as the possibility of booking an appointment but also an explorer in which the user can find medical documentation.

Mockups & Tests

In order to improve our app and get this result, we tested it with potential users. We learned a lot from their feedback and adjusted accordingly. There you can access our mockups and with this link you can access the tests we conducted and our users feedbacks

The next step of our project has been to design our interface to get a medium-fidelity representation of our project. This is called a mockup and we realized it through Figma website. We have focused on something simple with one main color (blue) and one police (Inter). Our illustrations come from « the Noun Project » and Figma’s community. Then, we started our test phase in order to understand our users’ needs, simplify their experience and improve our mockup.
